Angelina Marilyn Bok

Producer

Angelina Marilyn Bok is a Singaporean film producer and co-founder of film collective, Screentone. No stranger to speaking at international media panels, she became part of the New Asian Producers Network, an association for young Asian film producers in 2020. Angelina’s training in creative producing culminated as an alumnus of several prestigious programmes: Rotterdam Lab, Berlinale Talents Tokyo, International Film Business Academy at the Busan Asian Film School (AFiS), NAFF Fantastic Film School and Full Circle Producers Lab Philippines.

Her recent short, Smoke Gets In Your Eyes, premiered at Busan International Film Festival, winning Best Singapore Short at Singapore International Film Festival, Jury Prize at Hong Kong International Film Festival, and was awarded the top honour at China’s Golden Rooster Awards. She is also the Associate Producer of In My Mother’s Skin, a Singapore-Philippines horror feature which premiered at Sundance Film Festival and is now on Amazon Prime Video.

On top of producing, she has organised and programmed film festivals, sat in panel discussions and provided development consultation to young filmmakers in Asia. At present, she is in post production for a debut drama feature and is developing a dark comedy feature (awarded Special Mention at Talents Tokyo) and a series. She aims to collaborate across borders and tell stories with a penchant for nuanced portrayals of human relationships and the absurdity of the everyday mundane.
