本系列以新加坡这个灯火辉煌的热带小岛作为背景，由「春」、「夏」、「秋」、「冬」四个诙谐浪漫的喜剧构成，各别叙述本地四个不同年龄段的爱情故事。

The Four Seasons of Singapore is a romantic-comedy series with a quirky slant about four Singaporean couples at different stages of their marriages, each representing a “season” of our city.

岛国虽如弹丸般小，却繁荣昌盛，难免促成大家脚步飞快、急于求成，在无有四季的新加坡往往失去时间的概念—— 春时盼夏，夏时忧秋，秋时怕冬，冬时又盼春。其实每个人生阶段都有每个阶段的美好，正所谓：

「春有百花秋有月，夏有凉风冬有雪；
若无闲事挂心头，便是人间好时节。」

本系列取「春夏秋冬」这个自然循环作为比喻，叙述四个不同人生阶段的愛情故事，在摄影和美术层面上也同样地利用「春夏秋冬」加以设计，概念新颖，也借此机会呈现新加坡地方风采。

本系列会以「先诙谐、后感人」的方式呈现。故事情节充满生活自带的荒诞，以帮助故事核心人物了解自己、了解伴侣，希望观众集集都能拍案叫绝，并且面对一些如「何谓爱情」、「何谓青春」等的烦人问题，并为自己找到满意的答案。

In the fast-paced metropolis of Singapore, we tend to feel restless yet have the desire to pursue our ‘next steps’. And if a goal has been achieved, one is then afraid of losing vigour and success. This creates a vicious cycle of non-stop chasing, without really appreciating the Present. Our series aim to show how life will always have its ups and downs, its spring summer autumn winter, and we will always be presented with the unexpected. That being so, each season of life has its own natural beauty and we should remember to take a look at where we are.

Set against the backdrop of Singapore’s sights and sounds, the series features places of interest and local flavours of our city. Each episode is distinguished by their own unique colour palette and production design, creating a visual representation of Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter in our perennially-tropical island.

The tone of this series is comedic — Relatable characters get thrown into absurd situations, allowing them to explore their relationships, creating heartening and soul-stirring stories along the way, complete with gratifying payoffs.

We hope to present to local and foreign audiences some culturally-rich and scenic places that Singapore has to offer, and a tapestry showing romance and youthfulness in our society. A cinematic chicken soup for the soul.
