Rhythm of Time Mini Film Festival

【與時劇進】迷你電影節

Film Festival | 17 Short Films | Singapore | 2022

Generation gaps are limited not only to human connections, occurring also in landscapes, values and culture — these are the different changes Singapore had gone through. Featuring a selection of local short films, Rhythm of Time — Mini Film Festival is a time capsule that documents various depictions of generation gap in Singapore from the 1940s to the present day.

The works of the following filmmakers were featured:

Anthony Chen | Christina Oer | Bertrand Lee | Eileen Chong | Gladys Ng | He Shuming | Kelvin Tong | Kew Lin | Kyle Ong | Michael Kam | Nelson Yeo | Rajendra Gour | Rifyal Giffari | Royston Tan | Tan Pin Pin | Wee Li Lin | Wilson Yip

Many of these critically-acclaimed shorts are no longer easily accessible to the public, with the oldest one produced more than 25 years ago. Carefully curated by Screentone, the mini film festival was presented both physically and online for a month beginning on 19th June 2022, garnering over 800 physical attendees and 5.6 million online views.
